Customer Service

We have a dedicated customer service staff that ensures orders are promptly processed and fulfilled accurately. Every workday we process orders received via phone, email, fax, or EDI, depending on customer ordering preference. As part of our commitment to excellent customer service, every call received during regular business hours (M-F, 8 am – 5 pm EST) will be answered by a live person in our Harleysville, PA office.

Order Preparation

What makes us unique is our ability to pick & ship your order however you want. Your order can be picked and crossdocked for each individual store in a supermarket chain or we can do bulk orders for stocking in your own warehouse. Your order can be picked up or delivered depending on your logistical preference. We customize your program to include the level of service you request.

Merchandising

Our experienced team of merchandisers can train your workers how to run a salad bar program based on HACCP food safety principles and emphasizing freshness, shrink control, and visual presentation. Our proprietary Operations Manual reinforces the training, and we arrange follow-up & retraining visits when needed. We can add as much or as little merchandising support as desired to any customized Salad Bar Tenders program.

Historical Reporting

One advantage to being a Salad Bar Tenders customer is the opportunity to receive our custom sales reports. The data in our custom reports can help you manage you salad bar shrink and profitability. Contact us for more information about sales reporting.

Salad Bar Equipment

We can supply all the equipment and small wares needed to maintain a functional and attractive salad bar. We can set up accrual programs so that your product purchases pay for the equipment, if needed.
